Anything you want woven into THIS post as your own experience or opinion. Your reusable voice, credentials and case studies live in Settings and are added automatically.

① Pick & check your topic

A great list post starts with the right topic. Enter yours, then run the 3-point check (people care · enough items exist · not already dominated).

① ½  AEO Framework 2026 · answer-engine ready

Shape your whole post around a proven 2026 structure that AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) love to quote. This steers your title, intro, items and descriptions, and adds a dated update line plus an FAQ with schema.

② Title odd numbers stand out

Two proven formulas: [Number] [Topic] [Type] and [Topic] [Type]: The Complete List. Edit freely, or generate options and pick one.

③ Intro

Four parts: a strong promise, the number of items (bolded), what to expect, and a one-line call to action.

④ Categories

Group your items into 3–8 sections (they become your H2 sub-headings and jump links). You can add, rename or remove any.

⑤ Items — the heart of your list

Generate items toward your target. Listicle AI fills each category, removes duplicates, and stops at your licence cap. Add or delete any by hand.

⑥ Descriptions ~25 words each

Turn the skeleton into a meaty post — a short, useful description for each item. You can re-run this any time you add items.

⑦ Conclusion

The job of the conclusion is to get comments — ask readers what you missed (it also crowdsources new items for v2). Add a CTA to weave your offer in after that.

⑧ Assemble & export

Builds the full post (title · intro · jump-link table of contents · categories · items · descriptions · conclusion).

Save a campaign to a file to revisit or refresh it later (e.g. re-run the items in a few months) — then publish back to the same URL with "Update the post" below.

🔎 Back up with real data AI key

Web-searches for REAL, high-authority stats and returns a sourced version of your assembled list (no Wikipedia/blogs). Build the preview first, then copy the sourced version back in.

🧰 Interactive tool AI key

Suggests an interactive tool that fits your list, then builds an embeddable widget for the post or a standalone single-page tool.

🖼️ Image prompts OTO

One hero + one image per category (Brian recommends ~1 image per 5–10 items). No AI key needed. Paste into ChatGPT / DALL·E / Midjourney.

🚀 Publish to WordPress OTO

Publishes the assembled post (with TOC anchors) via the WordPress REST API. Add sites in Settings.

Getting a 401 with a correct password usually means your host strips the Authorization header. Fix: add this to your site's .htaccess (top): RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}] — or ask your host to allow it. Also confirm the username is your WordPress login name and the app password belongs to that user.
